This website

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no third-party scripts. Its fonts come from our own server. The Shabbat widget asks Hebcal (hebcal.com) for the times in the city you choose; that request comes from your browser, so Hebcal can see your IP address. Your choice of city is kept only in your browser.

The members' area

You sign in with Google. We receive your name, email address and photo, and nothing else. Your session uses a cookie that is necessary for signing in and is used only on the members' area.

If you choose, you can add your date of birth (needed to calculate your chart), and optionally the time and city of your birth. We store these encrypted and use them only to calculate your chart and astral notes.

Your conversations with the Council are private to you. The text of your conversations and your chart data are sent to our AI provider (MiniMax) to produce the answers. We never send your name or email address to it.

The Council's answers are for reflection. They are not medical, financial or legal advice.

Your rights

You can see, correct, export and delete everything we hold about you, and withdraw your consent at any time, by using your account or by writing to our privacy officer. Deleting your account deletes your conversations and your birth data. These rights follow Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and, for residents of Quebec, Law 25.

How long we keep it

Until you delete it.

We will change the date above whenever this policy changes.
